Cloudscape

Clouds are
carousels
dragons
fleecy-winged nymphs
black daggers flung
with roars
and flashing rage.
Torrential fury
floods the earth -
radiance…
Clouds become
shining droplets.

On Time

I’m wonderful at wasting time;
The great globe gallops by;
But every moment that I rhyme
Eternity is mine.

Tomorrow

There is always a tomorrow
After that last sorrow
After that last furrow.
Soaring over our pendant in the sky
Flapping gently in the firmament
A nightingale with silvery sheen
Sings its eternal song in sunlit realms
Never beclouded by blackened mists
Shrouding dread crevasses
Lilting in love, lingering evermore
On lighted pedestals ‘neath that great door
Each heart, a harp, shall sing on dawn’s bright shore
Tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow.
