The Art of Rabbi Avraham Gaon
Rabbi Avraham Gaon was born in Tel Aviv, Israel in 1962. He received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the State University of New York- Empire State College in Psychology and Cultural History and a Master of Science Degree from Touro College in Mental Health Counseling. During his studies at Empire State College he spent a great deal of time in independent learning and a Capstone project focusing on Native American people of the United States with particular emphasis on the New York and Northeast regions. Rabbi Gaon received rabbinical ordination both as a communal Rabbi and a Rabbinic Judge. Rabbi Gaon is a passionate self taught artist that experiments with multiple mediums including, charcoal, watercolor, gouache, pencil, and soapstone sculpture and carving.
