The Art of Chava Epstein

Chava Epstein was born in Jerusalem, Israel, and is a graduate of the art department of the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design (1970). She is a member of The Association of Painters and Sculptors in Israel. Chava has had 40 solo exhibitions and many group exhibitions in Israel and abroad.
Today Chava creates mainly in the following media: etching, painting with oil, ink, watercolor, pastel, painted stones and ceramic sculptures. She combines her works with her own writing: prose, poetry and script. She has illustrated and written: A Day of Mustard and a Day of Honey, 1977, To Meat-Pot Land, 1979, The Jar Princess, a book of poetry, 1990, Fool's Journey to the Source of the EYE, 2002, Undercurrent Account, poetry, 2002, Thread of Gold, 2003 |
