Olga Kushnir came to Israel in 2000 from a family exiled to Siberia. Upon immigration to Israel she returned to painting after a hiatus of ten years. For a long time she searched for her own style trying different techniques. Currently she paints mainly using a palette knife and sometimes with a brush. She also teaches painting with a palette knife. Her favorite subjects are landscapes of the country and images from her imagination. Her works have been sold in Israel and abroad. Among other collectors of her art are the sons of Stef Wertheimer.
