Navah de Shalit


Navah de Shalit was born in Rehovot, Israel in 1953 and grew up near Boston, USA. She now resides in Jerusalem, is married with three children.
She has a B.A. from Harvard University and a M.A in Public Health from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.
Nava was a special student at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, she is a graduate of the Art Instructors Course at the Israel Museum and also studied at the School of Art and Sculpture, Jerusalem.
Her art has been exhibited at The Artists’ House in Tel-Aviv, The Jerusalem Theatre for Performing Arts, The Artists’ House, Haifa and in the Cultures Center, of Jerusalem. She had a one-person show- Traffic Jam- Paintings and Drawings at the Nora Gallery, Jerusalem in 2011
Navah has illustrated a children’s book, Annette, by Dr. Marion Walter, published in five languages (1971).
