Judy Swanson received a Certificate in Art from Capital Community-Technical College, Hartford, CT, and studied oil painting and monotype techniques at the University of Hartford Art School. She has studied with several nationally recognized artists. She has won many awards and has been accepted in many juried shows throughout the State of Connecticut and in the Monotype Guild of New England exhibit, juried by Joann Moser of the Smithsonian. Note cards of a series of carousel horses are available in various locations in Old Lyme, CT including the Florence Griswold Museum gift shop. Her paintings are in many private collections in the United States and abroad.
