Born in the USA, Judith Appleton went to college in NYC and attended the School of Visual Arts night classes before moving to Israel in 1978. She studied with Rafi Munz at the Kibbutz Artists' Workshop in Tel Aviv and at Bezalel Academy of Art and Design, Jerusalem. Judith has been painting landscapes in New England, kibbutzim and landscapes in Israel and especially around Jerusalem, and on travels abroad.
